LANDMARKS
Ravaged by war, broken by disaster, twisted by sorcery, manipulated by magic, and revolutionized by technology, the Wayward World is filled with natural and not-so-natural landmarks that tell the story of a planet with a rich history, but scarred by cataclysm.

Carbunkle! takes its name from the greatest and most terrifying monument of the world’s many disasters: Mount Grockunmaz, the God Volcano. This impossibly vast pustule of hell constantly bleeds lava, belches smoke, and looms with an ever-present threat of doom. Its rapid growth and catastrophic eruption shattered the world that was, transforming it into the world now known as Carbunkle! The World of Adventure.

Though the God Volcano towers over all, the world brims with many other incredible vistas: the jagged, continent-spanning fissure known as the Canker, the floating islands of Atla Naru, and the Forty-Seven Pillars of the Ungolen Fel, whose purpose and meaning have been lost to history, to name just a few.

These unique landmarks are sights that must be seen to be believed. Each serves as both wonder and warning, a testament that the Wayward World was not merely shaped by catastrophe but forged in its fires, calling out to adventurers to unravel its mysteries while safeguarding its future.
